I have been involved in the Insurance Recruitment Industry for the past 10 years, having worked with and filled positions for some of the major Insurers in both the London and regional markets. The majority of these have been at the “Head of” level or above. I have been a top Consultant in terms of billing figures for the two companies I have previously worked for. I set up my first company, Claims Recruitment Services, in August 2013, having identified a gap in the market for claims recruitment, and we have gone from strength to strength ever since. To set up Eden James Consulting as our sister company was always my next intention; the company provides mid-senior level recruitment solutions, on either an Executive Search or Contingency basis, in areas outside of claims.

I have been thoroughly trained in the art of Executive Search, using the ‘Finkel Methodology’, a 24 step recruitment process. This thorough process, combined with a lot of hard work, passion and determination, has been a fundamental aspect of my success.

I have always had a bit of a competitive nature, having been Hampshire Badminton Champion four times and having played in the Hampshire Premier Squash Division, and I think this has certainly helped me in my recruitment career.

It has also been really important for me to create a cohesive team that works well together, and I most certainly have that with Jamie, Russell and Joe. We’re like a family, except we don’t spend Christmas together (not all of it anyway).
