We are proud to exclusively partner with an exciting, growing and dynamic motor insurer to recruit a Claims Business Manager, who will manage the performance of the company’s Third Party Arrangements (TPA) supplier contracts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitoring adherence to agreed best practice guides and contractual operational standards.
  • Reviewing financial data, and working with the suppliers to ensure that any necessary action is taken where improvement opportunities are identified.
  • Leading and managing specific claims initiatives, including the tracking and analysis of management information.
  • Understanding and responding to business results, as well as market, technical and legal challenges.
  • Working with the Audit function to provide assurance over TPA performance.
  • Making recommendations to the Heads Of function and Claims Assurance for optimal contract terms.
  • Gathering, cleansing and building usable data sets from TPAs to provide analytical input for the development of the company’s TPA claims experience.
  • Tracking management information, making appropriate recommendations for improvements.
  • Managing the optimal financial performance of TPA contracts.
  • Determining technical best practice on key issues alongside relevant stakeholders.
  • Holding review meetings with TPA supply chain partners to hold them to account for contractual commitments.
  • Working in conjunction with the supplier audit function to provide adequate assurance over supplier performance.

Key Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar role is required, including knowledge of Motor insurance.
  • An articulate and numerate individual, with strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
